Founder, The Supplement Coach
My connection to health and wellness started long before I ever stepped into a gym or opened a nutrition textbook. Growing up with a mother who was a physiotherapist, movement and mindful eating were part of daily life. She taught us the value of real, nourishing food — from growing our own fruit and vegetables to being aware of what we were putting into our bodies. I didn't always appreciate it at the time, but those lessons shaped everything that followed.
Becoming a personal trainer felt like second nature, and over the past 20 years I've coached clients in Ireland and Canada, run group training programmes, lectured in fitness education, and managed busy health and fitness facilities. But early on I realised that training alone wasn't enough. Nutrition was the missing piece for most people — not just what to eat, but what their bodies were actually lacking.
That curiosity sent me down a path of continuous learning. In 2026, I completed my degree in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition — a milestone that brought together years of study and practice. I also hold diplomas in holistic nutrition and nutritional therapy from the IINH and CSNN, and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification. Earlier in 2026, I completed Dr Stacy Sims' Menopause 2.0 course, deepening my understanding of how women's nutritional needs shift through different life stages — an area I'm deeply passionate about.
I spent five years working in a health food shop, advising people daily on supplements, health concerns, and how to navigate the overwhelming world of nutritional products. Thousands of one-to-one conversations with real people about their real health challenges taught me more than any textbook could.
I believe that when you combine nourishing food, intentional movement, and supportive lifestyle habits, you unlock the true potential for long-term health, energy, and vitality. The Supplement Coach was born from everything I've learned along the way — to cut through the noise and help you find the supplements that actually make a difference.
